Auditions for adult dancers for CityDance Ensemble’s Spring performance featuring ballet, modern, contemporary and jazz choreography will be held Saturday, Jan 21 at 10:30am and 12:30pm. Parents and Guardians:
Please review the children’s calendar of important dates provided. All performance related activities are listed including studio and theatre dress rehearsals. We strive to provide as much notice as feasible to insure that young dancers will be in attendance at these important rehearsals. The process of participating in these performance preparations is of equal if not more importance as the performance itself. Many life skills are being learned and practiced. This process is key to a confident, fun and exciting experience for young performers rather than an unhappy, stressful one. Please support our performers in attending these extra activities.
Please note as well other important dates including spring break - Pre-registration for Fall 2012 - Summer camp dates and Fall program start date among others.
All children performers with the exception of Ballet Level 2 will participate in one Studio Dress Rehearsal held at Studio Dionne and one theatre dress rehearsal held at the Pace Academy Fine Arts Center. (See address and directions below. For detailed map please visit www.paceacademy.org) Ballet Level 2 students (village girls) have some additional rehearsals because they are dancing with CityDance Ensemble in additional scenes as well as the children’s ballet scene.
Information regarding picture days will be forthcoming and take place after costume distribution in early May.
There will be professional child care backstage with the young performers during the performance. WE ARE ASKING FOR 8 PARENT VOLUNTEERS FOR DRESS REHEARSAL. If you would like to volunteer, please sign up at the desk. With the exception of these volunteers no other parents need or should be in attendance at the theatre dress rehearsal.

The Fine Arts Center is located on West Paces Ferry between Rilman Road and Castlegate Dr.
Going north on I-75 from downtown Atlanta:
- Take West Paces Ferry Road exit, #255.
- Turn left on US-41/Northside Parkway.
- Proceed one block to the traffic light at West Paces Ferry Road.
- Turn right (going east) and continue ¾ mile to Pace Academy on the right.
