I've been dancing at Studio Dionne for 4 years. I love it! As an adult who danced in college, I have tried many places in many cities, including Atlanta. I thought I would have to give up dancing because every place was a glorified aerobics studio or the classes just funded their performing group so no one took them seriously. But at Studio Dionne I'm a better dancer now then when I started...and I'm over 30! Who knew you could have fun in your 'hobby' but still learn and improve in a stress free environment. I don't know how the instructors do it - teach an entire class, but still recognize my individual strengths and identify what I can do better or easier. That's a skill that is rare in dance teachers. I thought as an adult dancer the best I could hope for would be to maintain my fitness level, how wrong I was. It's a rare combination, this studio can transform a true beginner into a life-long learner and lover of all forms of dance and the life-long dancer can find a home that is challenging but stress free. I love it! (added bonus, it's located right off the highway - easy access when coming from work to make a class!) |
